  • SafeAssign Processing Times (Friday, 24 March 2017)

    SafeAssign is currently experiencing a high load of paper requests and is taking longer than expected to process a report (24 hours +).  Please take this into consideration when submitting your draft assignments.

  • Resolved: Important Information about Grades (Wednesday, 30 November 2016)

    As of 16:30, Thursday 24 November 2016, all hidden grades have been restored. If your paper’s Grade Centre is not displaying as expected, please contact the IT Service Desk.

    Students - please note final grades are found in eVision.

    Issue: After the weekend upgrade, we discovered an issue which means that some grades are not displaying in some grade centres.  At present, we've got a backup of the grades on another Blackboard server so that we can get copies of grades to anyone who needs them.



  • Not receiving email from your lecturer/course instructor sent via Blackboard? (Monday, 15 August 2016)
  • Otago Capture Browser Recommendations (Thursday, 12 May 2016)

    If you're having trouble watching Otago Capture lecture recordings:

    • On the Student Desktop computers, use Firefox.
    • On your own computer, make sure Flash is updated to at least version 19.
    • There have been reported issues with using Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, please try using Google Chrome or Firefox.

    Remember it's always best to keep your broswer and Flash Player up to date. You can update Flash on their website: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/  

  • Can't log in? (Tuesday, 20 January 2015)

    If you are a student and you can't log in, it might mean that:
      Your username or password is wrong; or
      None of your papers are using Blackboard this semester; or
      You have not completed enrolment; or
      You are not permitted to access Blackboard resources (this may be the case if you are a debtor).

    If you are a staff member and you can't log in, it might mean that:
      Your username or password is wrong; or
      None of your papers are using Blackboard this semester.

    If you require assistance with your username/password please contact the ITS Service Desk; or use eVision to check your enrolment status if you are a student.
