  • Blackboard unavailable, Thursday 18 August 8pm-8:30pm (Thursday, 18 August 2016)

    In order to fix a function of Blackboard which is not currently operating normally, ITS needs to restart Blackboard.  This will happen this evening between 8pm and 8:30pm.  During that time, no one will be able to access Blackboard.

    We recommend that you save your work and log out BEFORE 8pm.

  • Not receiving email from your lecturer/course instructor sent via Blackboard? (Monday, 15 August 2016)
  • Otago Capture Browser Recommendations (Thursday, 12 May 2016)

    If you're having trouble watching Otago Capture lecture recordings:

    • On the Student Desktop computers, use Firefox.
    • On your own computer, make sure Flash is updated to at least version 19.
    • There have been reported issues with using Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, please try using Google Chrome or Firefox.

    Remember it's always best to keep your broswer and Flash Player up to date. You can update Flash on their website: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/  

  • SafeAssign Processing Times (Friday, 29 April 2016)

    SafeAssign can take up to 48 hours to process a report at present, as it is a peak assessment period. Please take this into consideration when submitting your draft assignments.

  • Can't log in? (Tuesday, 20 January 2015)

    If you are a student and you can't log in, it might mean that:
      Your username or password is wrong; or
      None of your papers are using Blackboard this semester; or
      You have not completed enrolment; or
      You are not permitted to access Blackboard resources (this may be the case if you are a debtor).

    If you are a staff member and you can't log in, it might mean that:
      Your username or password is wrong; or
      None of your papers are using Blackboard this semester.

    If you require assistance with your username/password please contact the ITS Service Desk; or use eVision to check your enrolment status if you are a student.
